You're not going to like this answer, but he's a jerk. He loves himself more than he loves you. There is no "fix" for this - either he accepts you AND your dancing or he doesn't. The ball's in his court as to whether or not to accept who you are and be supportive. If he can't deal with that then the ball's in your court to give up what you love for a jerk or find someone who loves you and all you do.
