What are the possible punishments for a misdemeanor B in Kentucky for no current proof of insurance?

i went through a check point to see if i had insurance and active drivers license, i had proof of insurance but it was the wrong card and i got a citation for no insurance subject: had no current proof. I never been in any kind of trouble and what will be the out come of all this, or try to say i didnt have insurance on that day??
