I was charged with simple possession of marijuana less than 1/2 oz, and drug paraphernalia...?

I was pulled over searched and I received a citation. I have to appear in court July 9. During that time I was 17, I've never been convicted of a crime, or traffic violation, I have no record, never been in trouble once. I'm just graduated high school, I'm going to college, I'm an honor student. Whats going to happen to me? I've never been more scared in my entire life my parents won't hire a lawyer there so disappointed and upset with me, they didn't even celebrate my 18th birthday or my graduation.
